This ridefilm dates back to my days at Xaos, Inc. Clearly a conceptual piece, it was commissioned by VW to depict the evolution of the automobile. Not entirely sure how all that works out symbolically, but it's very cool to look at on a big screen.

I did a ridiculous amount of layout for the two excerpts shown here, hand-placing tens of thousands of gears and car parts to fill out the environments.
