When the tech industry was peaking at the turn of the millennium, this TechTV biography show was pretty relevant . Tech tycoons like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and a handful of others were the pioneers of the industry.

To capture the essence of these individuals, the design focused on descriptive words that characterized and defined the personalities being portrayed.

Words would slide and snake into view, creating an endless crossword grid of descriptive language. As more and more words entered the grid, the letters would form the faces of these iconic titans of tech, until only faces comprised of a data-matrix of letters remained.

The letters and words were individually animated to travel on the grid, with grayscale values of the positive and negative spaces used to create the facial definition.
