This parody review for G4's popular gamer show "X-Play" was the brainchild of Smoke Artist Jason Cheung, featuring his then-ongoing alter -ego Johnny Xtreme.

Johnny Xtreme was a recurring character on G4's popular game review show "X-Play." Dressed in his trademark Cult wifebeater and bandana, he essentially was "extreme" only because he said so.

And Jason wanted to put Johnny to rest, giving him an appropriate send off - that send off being a mock video game based off his "extreme" personality, which ultimately was just a mediocre 2D scroller.

So he asked me to help design some environments, as well as the poster, for "Johnny's Xtreme Adventure," which he assembled himself in Smoke.

Even though I didn't comp it, I just think it's a ridiculously entertaining thing to watch. Incidentally, it only received a rating of 2 out of 5 stars.
