These segment headers were a heck of a lot of fun to design and animate, particularly the "Japan" one.

Essentially, the look for G4's live variety show was already set. So these bits were a means to expand upon that. Subversiveness, deconstructivism, and all that old propaganda imagery, mixed with a little bit of '80s punk, were the directives.
